1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Detangle app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of the platform including clients and therapists.
2. Services Provided
Detangle connects users with licensed mental health professionals for therapy sessions via video, audio, and chat. We are a platform — not a healthcare provider. The therapists on our platform are independent professionals.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.
4. Session Policies
Sessions are 50 minutes. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Missed sessions without notice will be deducted from your plan. Rescheduling is subject to therapist availability.
5. Payment
All payments are processed securely through our payment gateway. Subscription plans are non-refundable once sessions have been used. Unused sessions within the plan validity period may be forfeited upon expiration.
6. Code of Conduct
Users must treat therapists with respect. Any form of harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior will result in account termination without refund. This includes verbal abuse during sessions.
7. Limitation of Liability
Detangle is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our services. For emergencies, please contact local emergency services immediately. Our platform is not a substitute for emergency mental health care.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and materials on the Detangle platform are owned by Detangle and protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce or distribute any content without permission.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Users will be notified of significant changes.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kerala, India.
